Our Ingredients

  • Whole Grain Sorghum Flour

Sorghum is a naturally gluten free, non-gmo ancient grain whose origins can be traced back 8,000 years to what is presently Egypt and Sudan. It is inherently drought tolerant and known to be among the most efficient crops in the conversion of solar energy.

    Whole Grain Sorghum Flour
  • Pea Protein

Non-GMO Yellow Field Peas grown in the USA without the use of any chemical solvents. PURIS seeds are adapted to the unique conditions of our partner farms, naturally bred to deliver superior yield and disease resistance and regenerate the soil.

    Pea Protein
  • Almond Butter

The Almond Butter is made using select, wholesome almonds from California. The natural almonds are roasted with their skins on and then ground into a smooth butter with remarkable flavor.

    Almond Butter
  • Maple Sugar

On the slopes of Butternut Mountain in the heart of Vermont maple country David and Lucy Marvin started Butternut Mountain Farm over 40 years ago.

    Maple Sugar
  • Organic Cane Sugar

Organic Cane Sugar is grown without chemicals, herbicides, or pesticides, and is minimally processed. Wholesome Organic Fair Trade Cane Sugar is hand-harvested in organic sugarcane fields in South America, and never treated with synthetic fertilizers.

    Organic Cane Sugar
  • Organic High Oleic Sunflower Oil

Colorado Mills owner, Doug Uhland, has worked with farmers and ranchers across Southeast Colorado since 1999 to harvest 100% of their sunflower seed within 150 miles of their zero solvent and zero waste plant.

    Organic High Oleic Sunflower Oil
  • Fenugreek Extract

Fenugreek is an herb originally from the Mediterranean and Asia and is common in Indian cooking! Fenugreek seeds have a strong maple syrup flavor that is delicious in our Maple Almond Butter Pretzel Nuggets.

SaltWorks harvests our salt off the Australian coast. The sea salt is unrefined, organic and rich in trace minerals!

    Sea Salt

Frequently Asked Questions

Is there a peanut allergen risk for the Maple Almond Butter Pretzel Nuggets?

Our Maple Almond Butter Filled Pretzel Nuggets are made on a separate line from our Peanut Butter Filled Pretzel Nuggets, so there is no risk of cross-contamination with peanuts!

How do you make the almond butter in your Maple Almond Butter Nuggets taste like maple syrup?

We flavor our almond butter with pure Maple Sugar from a family-owned Maple Syrup company in Vermont. It's the real deal. Learn about Butternut Mountain Farm at their site: https://butternutmountainfarm.com/ or on our Farm-to-Bag page!

Why do you use high oleic sunflower oil and not avocado or coconut oil in the pretzels?

We chose to use high oleic sunflower oil in our pretzels and popcorn because we love its rich buttery flavor. We source our oil from Colorado Mills, who presses their oil just a few hours from our office. Working with a local company like Colorado Mills helps us have more transparency and a lower carbon footprint than we would sourcing avocado or coconut oil from other countries. The American Heart Association also recommends high oleic sunflower oil as part of a heart healthy diet because of the high amount of monounsaturated fat.
